m3we is a Fabric library for creating custom blocks, items and entities from JSON and Lua files, without writing Java code.
What it does
Modders describe content in JSON and Lua files, and the m3we tool turns those files into working custom blocks, custom items and custom entities. Behaviors can be driven by Lua scripts, which lets work-in-progress content carry complex logic. The tool targets Minecraft 1.19.2 only, and its latest Fabric file is 1.0.1 for 1.19.2, published 2025-10-02. It requires Fabric API and runs on client and server, so both sides need it. The code is open source under the MIT License.
