Lucky Block Mod

by KI10

With Lucky Block Mod, a single block placed in the world turns into a random outcome when broken, from treasure and enchanted items to harmful surprises.

FabricClient and serverGNU General Public License v3.0 onlyOpen source1.21 – 1.21.10

What it does

The mod adds a block named LuckyBlock. Breaking it triggers one result chosen at random, and the outcome is different each time the block is opened. Drops range from enchanted apples, netherite and diamond equipment to other treasures, but the rolls can also produce lethal shocks, so the outcome is never predictable in advance.

Results are grouped into tiers, from common drops to rare epic events, which keeps a run of breaks varied. Server owners can put their own loot into the pool, so two breaks in the same world rarely match. The mod works with Fabric for 1.21 and the other current versions, and it can be used in minigame servers or solo play.

Files exist for Fabric only, across 11 release versions, 1.21 – 1.21.10. The latest file is 1.0.1 for 1.21.1, published on 2025-12-17. The environment is client and server, so the server and every player need the mod, and the source is open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only.

Key features

  1. Random lucky block

The LuckyBlock picks one outcome at random each time it is broken, with no fixed reward.

  2. Tiered results

Drops and events are arranged in tiers, from common loot up to rare epic outcomes.

  3. Custom loot pool

Server owners can add their own loot entries, so the possible results can be changed.

  4. Harmful outcomes

Some rolls produce a shock or other lethal effect, so breaking a block carries real risk.
