LootLedger
LootLedger records what players take from and put into containers, and shows that history on the container screen in both singleplayer and multiplayer.
What it does
Each time a player opens a container, LootLedger logs the items added, removed and moved. Vanilla chests, double chests, barrels, shulker boxes and hoppers are tracked, and modded containers are recognized automatically once their item names and icons are resolved. Opening the history takes a click on the book icon, which brings up an overlay where item icons and player avatars sit beside each entry, and the full log can be scrolled.
The mod is useful for finding out who took items from shared storage on a multiplayer server, or for checking one's own container activity in singleplayer. Server staff can identify griefing or theft without needing admin commands. Only containers that have been opened are tracked, so the mod keeps its overhead small. Language support is included.
LootLedger is a Fabric mod for Minecraft 26.1 and requires Fabric Loader 0.18.4 or higher along with Fabric API. It is client and server, so the server and every player need it. Files cover 1.21.11, 26.1, 26.1.1 and 26.1.2, with 1.0.7 for 26.1.2 as the latest file, and the code is open source under the MIT License.

Use cases
Shared storage on a server
Staff and players can see who removed items from a common chest without asking an admin.
Checking own activity
A singleplayer player can trace every container interaction they made in a world.
Who it’s for: Server owners who run shared storage and want to trace item losses, and players who want a record of their own container use.
How it compares
Craft From Chests is a Fabric mod for 1.21.1 – 1.21.11 that is client and server and not open source. ChestDiff is open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only and covers 1.21 – 26.2, but it is client-side only, so servers gain nothing from it. OmniChest is also client-side only, open source under CC0 1.0 Universal, and built for 1.21.10 – 26.2.
