Litematica Inventory Highlight

by tvinch_

Litematica Inventory Highlight marks blocks in a player's inventory that match a loaded schematic, so missing blocks are easier to spot during Survival builds.

FabricClient-side onlyMIT License1.21.8 – 26.2

What it does

When a schematic is being built in Survival, the mod shows which required blocks the player already carries, regardless of how many are in stock. Verification runs from Litematica's default key M+V and continues until the check is complete. Pressing M+O toggles the highlight itself, which uses the default Litematica keybinds.

The mod also checks for blocks that are placed wrongly. By default it highlights incorrect blocks, while incorrect block states and extra blocks are left unmarked until those options are turned on in the configuration. Configuration is handled through Mod Menu, which is required to open the settings screen.

The mod is client-side only, so only the player needs it and the server can run without it. It depends on Litematica and MaLiLib, and it is released under the MIT License without being open source. Files are published for Fabric, for 1.21.8, 1.21.11 and 26.2, with 1.0.1 for 26.2 as the latest file, dated 2026-08-05.

Key features

  1. Inventory highlight

Blocks in the inventory that match the schematic are highlighted, whatever the stack size.

  2. Verification check

A schematic verification pass can be started with M+V and runs until the comparison is finished.

  3. Wrong block detection

Blocks placed in the wrong spot are highlighted, and this check is enabled by default.

  4. Optional state and extra checks

Checks for wrong block states and for extra blocks are available, but they are off by default.
