Levelplate
by Herobrot
Levelplate draws a level plate above each mob in the world, and the plate can be changed to show HP as a numeric bar.
What it does
Each mob gets a plate above its head that shows its level. Server owners and players can change the plate color through a HEX value, turn on a numeric HP bar, and adjust the render distance at which plates appear. Cobblemon creatures show their Lv value in the name until they enter a battle, and Jade shows the Lv.X value in its bottom box.
HP for mobs is raised by the mod, in a way similar to how the Scaling Difficulty mod does it, and the Globox's direct port is noted as a source of that behavior. Because the plates and HP values appear in the world, the choice of what to display is left to the configuration. The mod needs Cloth Config API as a required dependency, which supplies its settings screen.
Levelplate is published for NeoForge 1.21.1 only, under the MIT License and as open source. A server running it needs every connecting player to have it too. Its source code and issue tracker are public.
