Hero's Lib

Hero's Lib is a NeoForge library for 1.21.1 that other mods use for shared config syncing, datapack syncing, tag IDs and developer utilities.
What it does
Herobrot published Hero's Lib as a set of helper code for mods the same author makes. Its main job is config sync and datapack sync, so settings and datapack content stay matched between a server and its players. Tag identifiers are resolved through the library, and a JsonWriter tool helps create datapack JSON during development.
Hero's Lib runs on the client and the server, so both sides need it. It requires Cloth Config API, which must be installed alongside it. Two catalog mods, Hero's Tiered and Hero's Levels, depend on it. Files exist for NeoForge 1.21.1 only, and the code is open source under the MIT License. The latest file, 1.2.1+1.21.1, was released on 2026-08-30, and the mod was first published on 2026-07-02.
