Legendary Item fills Minecraft with cold weapons and artifacts drawn from J. R. R. Tolkien's legendarium, among them the Staff of Alatar, Boromir's Sword and Bolg's Mace.
What it does
Legendary Item brings cold weapons, gems and artifacts drawn from the Silmarillion and other works by J. R. R. Tolkien into Minecraft. Players can find weapons such as Azog's Mace, Balin's Sword and the Arkenstone in the world. The content sits in its own creative tab, which holds 52 new weapons and two new items.
Each weapon uses a separate model and texture, so it looks distinct when held in first person and when seen from third person. Most cold weapons are rendered in the player's hand with their own artwork. Weapon stats are tuned against the diamond sword, so the items act as a stronger tier of melee gear.
The mod is open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only and is published for Fabric and Forge. Its files cover 17 game versions 1.3.2 – 1.19.4, and the latest file for both loaders is 24.10.09 for 1.19.4. Legendary Item needs no other mod, and the source code and issue tracker are public.
