Game of Thrones, a Forge mod for Minecraft 1.7.10, adds a large expansion based on George R. R. Martin's Known World and the HBO series.
What it does
The expansion brings in 684 items and 625 blocks, including concrete and ice bricks, and a new Game of Thrones dimension. Content draws on the HBO series and related sources, covering 37 factions and peoples from Westeros, Essos, Sothoryos and Ulthos.
An alignment system tracks how player actions affect reputation with each faction. Randomly generated mini-quests are recorded in a Mini-quests book. Weapons, tools and armor can be customised and upgraded with system modifiers. The mod is one of 80 Mobs mods with Forge files for 1.7.10. Integration with areas mods for multiplayer is listed as a feature.
Files exist for Forge only, for 1.7.10. The latest file is 24.08.29, released 2024-08-29. The source is under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only, so Game of Thrones is open source, and public links to the source code, issue tracker and wiki are available.
