Leave Decay cleans up unsupported natural leaves after a tree has been felled, using a small separate queue that runs once TreeVeinMiner VeinMiner has removed the logs.

What it does

Leave Decay is a datapack addon for the TreeVeinMiner VeinMiner base packs. Once a tree is cut with the base pack, the leaves that the base pack does not handle are cleared by an independent queue, so the canopy does not stay behind. The queue is bounded, and mining speed never expands a one-tick canopy scan, which keeps tick time steady on busy servers.

The datapack is placed in the world's datapacks folder beside one matching base pack for the same game version. After a reload, the server confirms that the base pack is connected, and a status command reports the state. Leave Decay is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, and a Data pack build is also available for server platforms. The environment is server required with an optional client, and the code is released under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only, so the mod is not open source.
