League-Way
by LeDoc
Players who want a progression layer on top of Cobblemon Academy 2.0 can use League-Way, a Fabric client mod that adds quests, gyms and leaderboards.
What it does
League-Way is a client-side mod for Minecraft 1.21.1 on Fabric, released under All rights reserved and not open source. Players install it in the mods folder like any Fabric mod. The mod depends on a separate backend component, so its features also work in singleplayer and on other multiplayer servers. A server-side installation of the Cobblemon Academy 2.0 server is required, because the mod is built to work with that server.
The mod is built around progression. A Trainer Journey story unfolds through chapters, an NPC Quest System lets players talk to characters and complete missions for rewards, and Gym Leaders each set their own challenge rules. Progression Masteries track activities across the game, and a Champion League path leads toward the highest titles. Leaderboards compare progress with other players, and Portal Teams let players create or join a group and advance together. The developer reports that the major systems are now active and that current work focuses on refining existing features and finishing the Story. The Community system and PokéPhone Applications are available in Open Beta.
