Kick Timer
Kick Timer, a Fabric server mod, removes a player from the server after a death and blocks them from rejoining until a set time has passed.
What it does
When a player dies on a non-hardcore server, the timer starts a countdown of two minutes, giving other players a chance to save them. If the countdown runs out, the player is disconnected and cannot return until the ban's time expires. The default ban length is 24 hours, and an operator can set the duration in hours and minutes. Operators are excluded from the mod's effect.
The mod was written to add a penalty for careless play, and its author notes that it was tested alongside Hardcore Revival and Grave Danger, two mods that handle dying and graves, because a player may worry about items stored inside a grave. Only the server needs the mod; players join without installing anything. Fabric API is required, and the mod is released under the MIT License and is open source.
Settings are read from a file named kicktimer.properties, which is created after the first start, and that file can only be changed by editing it by hand. Active bans are kept in a file named kicktimer bans.dat inside the bans folder of the server directory. Deleting that file or folder resets every active ban. The timer uses real time, so it keeps counting while the server is offline.
Key features
Death kick countdown
A player who dies is given two minutes before being removed from the server, so other players can try to save them.
Configurable ban length
The ban duration can be set in hours and minutes, with 24 hours as the default.
Real-time countdown
The timer follows real time rather than the server's game clock, so it keeps running while the server is offline.

What the author says
This is my first mod, which has a simple function - To kick the player from server on death and "ban" from re-entering for a set amount of time (by default 24 hours). The goal of this mod is to add a "penalty" for being careless. The mod was tested and works very well with Hardcore Revival and You're in Grave Danger…
