Jump Reset Mod
by somber974
Jump Reset Mod gives PvP players timing feedback on the jump reset technique, with each attempt labeled on a client-side Fabric display.
What it does
The technique cancels knockback by jumping right after a hit lands, but its effect depends on timing: a jump made too early goes out before the game has registered the hit, and a jump made too late comes after the knockback is already applied. The ideal window sits roughly 80 ms after impact. The mod hooks the physics engine before it resolves movement, so it captures the raw velocity impulse on the exact tick, which lets it tell an intentional jump apart from motion caused by knockback or terrain.
Each jump is classified as PERFECT, GOOD, LATE, TOO EARLY or MISSED, with a Gaussian scoring curve that turns the attempt into a 0 to 1 score. Timing windows adapt to the ground or air state and to measured latency, so the classification stays consistent across connections. Hits from falls, fire, poison and other non-knockback damage are filtered out. The mod is read-only: it observes movement, never modifies packets or gameplay, and it is described as safe to use alongside standard anti-cheats.
Key features
Five timing classes
Each attempt is labeled PERFECT, GOOD, LATE, TOO EARLY or MISSED based on how it lines up with the impact.
Crosshair indicator
A colored triangle above the crosshair shows when the window is open, turns yellow during an attempt and then shows the result in green or red.
Coaching hints
Short tips appear after an attempt, such as a note that a jump came slightly late, and say how to adjust.
Adjustable display
The feedback overlay slides in with animation and includes shadows that keep it legible on bright backgrounds, with adjustable scale, opacity and display duration.
Compatibility
Latest build for each game version and loader.

Jump Reset Mod is also client-side only and uses All rights reserved, but its classifications and timing windows are built on read-only capture of velocity before physics runs.

What the author says
JumpReset is a client-side Fabric mod that gives you accurate, real-time feedback on your jump resets during PvP combat. A jump reset is the technique of jumping immediately after taking a hit to cancel the knockback. Its effectiveness depends entirely on timing — jump too early and the game hasn't registered the hit…
