J's Banana Mod, a Fabric mod by jenopstons, adds bananas to Minecraft as food and as loot.
What it does
Players can find bananas in loot chests and as drops from jungle leaves, then eat them to restore hunger. Eating a banana has a small chance to give the Speed effect, which the author ties to the fruit being slippery. Every player and the server need a copy of the mod. The mod is released under the MIT License and is open source, with its source code published. Builds are for Fabric and target only 1.21.1.
