JOHN PORK STALKER

by Xw0ya

John Pork is a cursed hostile mob that stalks players through forests, caves and villages, and cannot move while a player is looking at it.

FabricForgeNeoForgeQuiltClient and serverAll rights reserved1.20.1 – 26.1.2

What it does

The mob keeps a distance from players while tracking them, and turns up in wooded areas, underground passages, ruined buildings and the open land beside a base after dark. It is set up as a horror encounter: players may spot it holding still at a distance, and it only advances while the player's gaze is averted. Sounds such as ringing, grunting and footsteps mark its approach.

The mob is meant as a joke and a scare rather than a serious challenge, and it suits players who enjoy funny memes and creepy encounters. Cloth Config API is required, so it must be installed alongside the mod on Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt. Files are published for 1.20.1 and 26.1.2, and the mod runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. It is released under All rights reserved and is not open source.

Key features

  1. Stalking mob

John Pork follows players at a distance and appears in forests, caves and abandoned structures.

  2. Freeze while watched

The mob cannot move directly while a player is looking at it, so the encounter depends on where the player looks.

  3. Audio cues

Ringing, grunting and footstep sounds signal that the mob is closing in.

  4. Glimpses at night

Players may see it hold still between trees or peer through windows, including outside a base at night.
