Item Collectors
With Item Collectors, nearby dropped items are gathered into a block within a set range, using Basic and Advanced collector blocks from the same mod.
What it does
Item Collectors adds two collector blocks that pull in items lying inside a specified range. The Basic Item Collector reaches up to 5 blocks, and the Advanced Item Collector reaches up to 7 blocks. Right-clicking either block opens its screen, where its settings are changed. Items gathered by a collector are passed into the block placed underneath it, so the target chest or hopper receives the stream.
The Advanced Item Collector can filter items, and its filter can be set to a whitelist or a blacklist. Range can be changed on the collector. Servers that run it need every player to install it too. Installation requires Fabric API, SuperMartijn642's Config Lib and SuperMartijn642's Core Lib. The mod is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt across 51 release versions, 1.12 – 26.3, and is released under All rights reserved, so it is not open source.

Automated item storage
A collector placed on top of a chest gathers dropped items from a mob farm or mining area into one storage point.
Filtered sorting
An Advanced Item Collector with a whitelist keeps chosen materials and lets the rest fall elsewhere.
