Iron Spawners

Iron Spawners adds five tiers of spawner blocks for Forge, each spawning more mobs at a faster rate than the vanilla spawner.
What it does
Players can break a vanilla spawner with a Silk Touch tool and keep the block. Surrounding a vanilla spawner with eight iron ingots turns it into a new spawner of the upgraded kind. The five tiers scale up: the first spawns three mobs every 30 seconds, the next two spawn three mobs every 20 and 15 seconds, the fourth spawns four mobs every 10 seconds, and the top tier spawns five mobs every 4 seconds.
Iron Spawners is released under the GNU General Public License v3.0 or later, so it is open source. Every player and the server need a copy of the mod. Files cover 1.20.1 – 1.20.4, with 1.0.0 for 1.20.4 as the latest Forge build, published 2024-01-22. Only the source code has a public link.
