InventoryTweak

by anvian

InventoryTweak sorts the player's inventory and any open container by key press, with a hotbar warning for worn tools.

FabricNeoForgeQuiltClient-side onlyGNU General Public License v3.0 or laterOpen source1.21 – 26.3

What it does

A key press, defaulted to B, sorts the player's inventory together with any container that is open, such as chests and shulker boxes. Items can be grouped by rarity, and sorting can be turned off in the settings when a player prefers to keep the default arrangement.

A durability warning appears at the top of the hotbar when a tool drops below a set percentage, which is 10 percent by default and can be changed in the configuration. The mod runs on the client alone, so a server does not need it to be installed.

The mod requires Anvian's Lib, Cloth Config API and Fabric API. It is published for Fabric, NeoForge and Quilt, with files covering 1.21 – 26.3 across 17 release versions. The code is under the GNU General Public License v3.0 or later and is open source.

Key features

  1. Inventory sorting

Pressing the sort key rearranges the player's inventory and any open container in one step.

  2. Sort by rarity

Items can be ordered by rarity so that rare stacks gather together after a sort.

  3. Configurable sort key

The key that triggers sorting is bound to B by default and can be changed in the controls.

  4. Durability warning

A message near the top of the hotbar signals that a tool is close to breaking.

  5. Adjustable warning threshold

The durability percentage that triggers the hotbar warning can be set to values other than 10 percent.
