Integrated Derivative
by Wizzerinus
Integrated Derivative is a Forge optimization mod for 1.12.2 that fixes bugs and performance issues in the Integrated Dynamics addon ecosystem.
What it does
The mod reduces the time the server spends processing a shift-click on a crafting grid, a change that matters most when large numbers of items move at once. It also resolves several known bugs and performance issues, and it adds a set of utility fixes to Integrated Dynamics addons. Its scope is narrow on purpose: it changes existing behavior rather than introducing new machines or recipes.
Integrated Derivative works alongside Integrated Terminals, where it fixes item duplication. Its JEI support is improved, including automatic recipe compression in the Logic Programmer and JEI drag functionality. Quality-of-life changes also address issues that long-time players of Applied Energistics will recognize, so the transition between the two feels more familiar.
Integrated Derivative requires MixinBooter, which must be installed alongside it on Forge. Servers that run it need every player to install it too. It is published for Forge only, for Minecraft 1.12.2, with version 1.1.2 as the latest file released on 2024-12-15. The code is released under the MIT License and is open source, with a public source repository and issue tracker.
