InstaSlate
by Eroxen
InstaSlate makes Deepslate breakable instantly with a Netherite Pickaxe, through a data pack that adds mining rules to the pickaxe.
What it does
InstaSlate is a data pack that changes mining speed for Netherite Pickaxes when they break Deepslate. It attaches an item modifier to the pickaxe that grants Efficiency V and Haste II. The rule only applies to Deepslate, and the effects are removed once the modifier no longer applies, so other blocks are not affected. The mod is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, with builds for 26.3. The server needs it, while players may add it to their own installs.
Key features
Instant Deepslate mining
A Netherite Pickaxe breaks Deepslate almost immediately while the item modifier is active.
Efficiency V and Haste II
The pickaxe gains Efficiency V and Haste II only while mining Deepslate, and the effects end afterward.
Limited scope
Other blocks and tools keep their normal mining speed, because the rule is limited to Deepslate.

The item modifier only gets applied if your pickaxe has Efficiency V and you have Haste II, and gets removed again if the effect runs…
