inject
by Brawls
inject is a Fabric library for Minecraft 1.21 – 26.2 that lets other mods inject Netty pipelines and handle raw HTTP requests on a server.
What it does
Developers use the library to hook Netty, the networking framework behind Minecraft's connections, without writing the injection code themselves. It provides a set of modules for common web stacks, including Spring Boot, Javalin, Ktor and Jetty, so a server can accept HTTP requests alongside game traffic.
Requests can be handled manually through the http module, and the examples module shows how an injector responds with a fixed message. Spigot, Paper and Purpur derivatives use the InjectSpigot class, and the project lists Paper, Spigot, Purpur and Folia as server platforms it can run on. The library runs on the server only, so players join without installing it, and it is released under the MIT License as open source.
Key features
Netty injection
The library makes it simpler to inject handlers into Netty, so other mods do not need their own low-level code.
Web framework modules
Separate modules cover Spring Boot, Javalin, Ktor and Jetty, letting a server expose HTTP endpoints with a familiar stack.
Manual request handling
An http module lets developers process incoming HTTP requests directly, without a framework.
Bundled examples
An examples module shows a working HTTP injector that replies with a short text message.
Compatibility
Latest build for each game version and loader.
