Inferno - Hardcore changes Minecraft's hardcore mode into a harsher survival experience, with tougher hostile mobs, faster hunger and weaker healing.

What it does

Hardcore survival is made more unforgiving. A player cannot be knocked from full health in a single hit except by fall damage, and thunderstorms are somewhat stronger. The author recommends crafting a lightning rod to deal with them. Hostile mobs spawn with random potion effects, zombies can appear as babies, and the mobs themselves are modified.

Saturation is heavily reduced, hunger drains much faster and starvation is more severe, so food has to be managed more closely. Changes to vanilla make survival harder, and the mod pairs with the Inferno modpack. It is published for Forge and NeoForge on Minecraft 1.21.1 – 1.21.4, with files for 1.21.1 – 1.21.4 listed. Servers that run it need every player to install it too. The code is under All rights reserved and is not open source.
