INet adds localization support to an existing tech mod for Forge players who use languages other than the default.

ForgeClient-side onlyMIT LicenseOpen source1.19.4

What it does

INet replaces hardcoded, non-translatable text with entries that can be localized, using Mixin to alter the game's text at runtime. Language files matching each supported language are provided with the mod. It is client-side only, so only the client needs it. Files are published for Forge 1.19.4, with 1.0.1 as the latest build from 2023-07-01, under the MIT License, and the project is open source.

Key features

  1. Localizable text

Text that was fixed in code is swapped for entries that a language file can translate.

  2. Language files included

Matching lang files ship with the mod for each supported language.

  3. Measurements handled

Hardcoded measurement units are adjusted so they follow the chosen language.

Questions

Does INet need another mod installed?

Yes. INet localizes text in a separate tech mod, so that mod must be present alongside INet on Forge 1.19.4.

Does the server need INet?

No. Players add it to their own game, and a server needs no copy.

What the author says

I can't bear it anymore. How can I live without localization😭 To solve this problem, install this Mod, which replaces all modifiable text with localizable text using Mixin. Just provide the corresponding language's lang file. When dealing with hardcoding, only hard measures can be used!
