Immersive Jungles

by Kekie6

Immersive Jungles, a Fabric mod by Kekie6, replaces the way jungle biomes generate with new wood types, tall trees and a set of food and drink items.

What it does

The mod adds an imaginary jungle biome filled with colorful fruits, hanging vines and overgrown trees. Jungles generate with more varied terrain than vanilla, including the landscape below the canopy, and with flat mushroom-like trees replaced by taller, fancier ones. Most of the new content sits in the trees and the ground beneath them.

Items and blocks from the mod are obtainable through ordinary play, so the additions fit into a vanilla survival progression. Cocoa beans, coffee beans and tea leaves grow on the new vines, and cooked foods and drinks can be made from them. Decorative blocks and foods extend the set further.

Installation requires Fabric. Installation covers the server and each player's game. Files are published for Fabric only, for the game versions 1.19.2, 1.19.3 and 1.19.4, with 1.0.0 for 1.19.4 as the latest file. The mod is released under All rights reserved and is not open source.

Key features

  1. New jungle trees

Tall jungle trees with four branches, each carrying its own foliage, replace the flat mushroom-like shapes.

  2. Climbable vines

Full-block vines drape from the branches and can be climbed, reaching down toward the jungle floor.

  3. Mossy trunks

Moss patches cover the trunks and stems, giving the logs an overgrown look that fits the biome.

  4. Tree house wood

The new log comes with its own set of planks, which allows building a tree house from matching materials.

  5. Coffee and tea

Coffee beans and tea leaves come from the vines that grow on the new trees, and both can be cooked into food and drinks.

Immersive Jungles covers only 1.19.2 – 1.19.4, so a player on a newer version has to pick one of the others instead.
