I Love You is a Forge social mod for Minecraft 1.20.1 that adds romantic and family roleplay systems, from dating and weddings to homes and children.
What it does
Players build relationships with one another over time. A love interaction menu between players tracks shared love progression, and couples can move through engagement and marriage, with rings used to propose. Once married, the couple can register a family home under the iloveyou home system, keep a family album of memories, and receive a marriage certificate recorded in a family book.
Weddings are staged as ceremonies at an altar, with confirmations, guests, blessings, particles and sounds. Wedding suits and a wedding dress provide outfits for the occasion. A basic children system uses baby villagers as NPCs with placeholder visuals, and couples can complete quests that involve their family, which adds family drama to the story. The mod is aimed at roleplay on LAN games and servers that want to build longer family stories.
The mod runs on the client and on the server, so both sides need it installed. It requires Forge and is published for Minecraft 1.20.1 only. Files are released under All rights reserved, which means the code is not open source.
