I Editor
by SayNooty
I Editor lets players change the properties of items through a single editing tool, covering names, tooltips, book covers and custom data.
What it does
The mod edits item elements such as display names, tooltips, book covers, custom data and custom model data from one interface. Each element is changed through the vanilla item component system, so edits follow the same rules the game uses for item properties. The Item Editor screen gathers these options so a player can adjust an item without commands.
Because it works on the item components themselves, the mod suits survival worlds, adventure maps and server-side item setups where a creator wants to tune how an item looks and behaves. Installation requires Fabric API on Fabric, while Forge, NeoForge and Quilt builds run without extra libraries. The server must run the mod, while players may leave it out. It is released under the MIT License and is open source, with files published on all four loaders for the current range of game versions.
