Backpacks
by hiisuuii
Players who want to carry extra items can add Backpacks, a NeoForge mod that adds two sizes of portable storage for 1.21.1.
What it does
Backpacks adds two sizes of backpack, a regular one and a large one, which come in single and double chest variants. Each backpack is crafted from leather, iron, gold and a chest, and it can be placed on the ground to act as a container. Placing a backpack and picking it up again is done by sneaking and right-clicking it.
The mod is a no-frills backpack mod that works on client and server alike, so both the server and every player need it. Equipped backpacks can be worn in the back or chest slot, and with Curios API installed they can also sit in the Curios chest slot. Its source code and issue tracker are public, and the code is under the MIT License, so the mod is open source.
Backpacks was first published on 2025-04-15 and last updated on 2025-08-20, with the current NeoForge file 1.0.3 for 1.21.1. It is published for NeoForge only.

All with You and Shellpack also target NeoForge 1.21.1 on client and server under the MIT License, and both are open source.
