Heroes Rising

Players reach the Cardinal Hero path through the only vanilla route, by finding a Four Holy Heroes record in a library and reading it. From there, a player holds an item in the offhand while the weapon is equipped and presses the absorb button to gain a new weapon form. Some forms need others gained first, and each form carries its own skills and abilities. A form is gained when the required material is in the inventory and the level requirement is met, and skills come from milestones such as reaching level 5 or defeating a wave boss.

Stats are HP, MP, SP (Soul Power, Hero only), Attack, Magic Attack, Defense, Magic Defense, and Strength, and each one grows with level at a rate set by the player's class. Levels come from killing naturally spawned monsters. Parties share experience from kills, and heroes can interact with the system using any weapon they choose. Dragon Hourglasses, which drive class ups, spawn in mountain and underwater biomes.

The mod is Forge only for Minecraft 1.20.1, runs on client and server, and is released under All rights reserved, so it is not open source. It runs on Palladium. The current Forge file is 1.1.2, published 2025-11-29 on the beta channel, and the mod's first file dates from 2025-07-04. The author notes that the wave countdown is not implemented yet and that some skill names are still a work in progress.
