Herbalist

Herbalist adds medicinal plants and fungi to Forge for 1.20.1, along with products made from them and a station for extracting their effects.
What it does
Among the new plants are Blazebud and several mushrooms and cacti, including Dreamcap, Goldenglow, Snowcap and Ethereal Fungus, plus Mirage Cactus and Diviners Sage. Blazebud is processed into products such as cigarettes, brownies and cookies. Each plant and product carries its own effect, so growing and combining them becomes part of play.
The Extraction Station turns plants into extracts, with several varieties, and the extracts produce further items. The effects are status effects in their own right: Introspection, Ripped, Dilirium, Desert Vision and Blazed. Herbalist is a Social mod and also sits in Adventure and Game mechanics, so it fits survival worlds and multiplayer servers alike.
The mod runs on Forge and is released under the MIT License, but it is not open source. Client and server both need it, so every player and the server must install the same build. Its latest file is 2.5.0 for 1.20.1, and the mod has been updated since its first release in July 2024.
