Hebrew Fix
by YaliGaming
Hebrew Fix corrects how Hebrew text appears in the Minecraft chat input preview, where right-to-left characters otherwise show up reversed while typing.
What it does
When the game language is Hebrew or Arabic, Minecraft reorders text using the Unicode bidirectional algorithm, which can display Hebrew letters in the chat input backwards. Hebrew Fix intercepts the text rendering in the chat screen so the preview shows characters in their original logical order. Mixed Hebrew and English text is handled, and word order stays as typed.
Only the on-screen preview is corrected; the text actually stored in the chat input stays as typed. Messages that are sent to the server are left completely untouched, and commands such as /msg and /w keep working as before. The mod is client-side only, so it changes nothing on the server and can be left out of a server's own installation.
Installation needs Fabric API, and Mod Menu is optional. With Mod Menu present, the mod's settings screen gives an on/off toggle for the fix. The files target 26.3 with 1.0.1 as the latest release, under the MIT License, and the source code is public.
Key features
Corrected chat preview
Hebrew characters are drawn in logical order in the chat input, so typed words read in the order they were entered.
Mixed-language text
Hebrew and English words in the same message are both rendered correctly, with word order kept as typed.
Untouched sent messages
Only the visual preview changes. The text that is actually typed and sent is not modified, and commands are unaffected.
On/off toggle
When Mod Menu is installed, a toggle in the mod's settings allows the correction to be switched off.
