Heavy Bunker

by Yoplay

Heavy Bunker is a Forge decoration mod that adds reinforced versions of common vanilla blocks, built to resist explosions and heavy weapons.

What it does

Each heavy block copies the look of its vanilla counterpart, such as cobblestone, stone bricks, dirt or oak planks, so a fortified base can keep the standard Minecraft appearance. The blocks are described as extremely dense, with a listed blast resistance of 3000.0, and are said to be immune to standard TNT, creepers and artillery from military mods. The mod was made for bases that are often destroyed by projectiles from warfare mods.

Heavy blocks are crafted at a crafting table using four heavy blocks as the result, with two obsidian blocks in the top-middle and bottom-middle slots and a base material in the remaining six slots. Breaking one requires at least a diamond or netherite pickaxe, and with a netherite pickaxe the author estimates each block takes about half a minute, so Efficiency V and haste from beacons are suggested for remodeling. Heavy Bunker runs on client and server and is published for Forge only, with the latest file 3.0 for 1.20.1, released on 2026-07-12. It is not open source and is released under All rights reserved.

Key features

  1. Heavy block variants

Reinforced versions of cobblestone, stone bricks, dirt, oak planks and other common blocks, each matching its vanilla look.

  2. Blast-resistant walls

The blocks carry a listed blast resistance of 3000.0, aimed at walls that stop tanks, missiles and creepers.

  3. Crafting recipe

Four heavy blocks are made from two obsidian blocks and a base material arranged on a crafting table.

  4. Slow mining

A netherite pickaxe takes roughly 30 to 40 seconds per block, and the blocks drop only when mined with a diamond or netherite pickaxe.

This mod introduces "Heavy" variants of standard vanilla blocks (Cobblestone, Stone, Bricks, Dirt, Oak Planks, etc.). These blocks look identical to their vanilla…
