Had Enough Items

by Cleanroom

Had Enough Items is a Forge library that replaces the item and recipe viewer JEI with a fork built for Minecraft 1.12.2, keeping its search, recipe lookup and bookmarks.

ForgeClient required, server optionalMIT LicenseOpen source1.12.2

What it does

The mod is a fork of JEI for 1.12.2 with performance work on memory use, load time and rendering. Its item and recipe lookup works as in JEI, and it adds a bookmark system covering favoriting recipes, autocrafting support and an overhauled bookmark overlay. Players can bookmark an ingredient or recipe from the item list, and the bookmark overlay can be opened and closed with a key that is rebindable under Options Controls.

The mod needs no other dependency besides Forge for 1.12.2, and it is published only for that version, with the latest Forge file 4.36.1 dated 2026-10-13. It is released under the MIT License and is open source, and its source code and issue tracker are public. Players must install it on the client, while a server may run without it.

Key features

  1. Faster loading and rendering

Memory, load time and render optimizations are part of the fork, which changes how the item and recipe screens are drawn.

  2. Bookmark favoriting

Recipes can be favorited, and each recipe gets its own group, so related recipes stay together in the bookmark list.

  3. Autocrafting from bookmarks

Bookmarked recipes support autocrafting, letting players craft from the bookmarked ingredients they hold.

  4. Bookmark groups and tooltips

Bookmark groups can be collapsed, and a tooltip with actions appears when Alt is held over a group. Recipe tooltips show more information.

  5. Fluid container handling

Fluid containers can be set as the default pick-up for fluids in the ingredient menu, and filling a fluid container is supported.
