Guitars! adds acoustic and electric guitars to NeoForge, which play custom chords and also serve as weapons for players in adventure and equipment play.
What it does
Two guitar types enter the game: an inexpensive acoustic guitar that deals less damage, and an electric guitar that costs more to craft, has more durability and deals more damage. Electric guitars require a portable amp to be played, so a player crafts the amp alongside the instrument.
A guitar works in two modes. In attack mode it is swung as a weapon. In chords mode it strums up to five custom chords, which the player selects from a chord menu and moves through with the next and previous chord keys. Switching between the two modes and opening the chord menu are handled with keybinds.
Guitar enchantments come from a Luthier villager. The Luthier can offer six different guidebooks, and the guidebooks are combined with a guitar at a Luthier Workbench to apply an enchantment. The mod is published only for NeoForge and only for 1.21.1, under All rights reserved, and it runs on client and server, so both the server and every player need it.
