Greate

by Electrolyte

Greate brings Create's kinetic machinery under a GregTech-style tier system, so shafts and other kinetic blocks take on tiers.

FabricForgeNeoForgeClient and serverMIT LicenseOpen source1.19.2 – 1.20.1

What it does

Greate gregifies Create: shafts and other kinetic blocks gain a tier, and the tier of the network sets how much power it can carry. A network's capacity is capped by its lowest-tier block, so an upgraded network needs every block on it raised. Most machines and recipes are also tiered, and a machine performs at the tier it was built for.

Installation needs Create, Create Fabric, Fabric API and GregTech CEu Modern, as Greate is published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge. Builds exist for 1.19.2 and 1.20.1, with 0.0.82 for 1.20.1 as the latest Forge and NeoForge file. The mod is released under the MIT License and runs on client and server, so both the server and every player need it.

Key features

  1. Tiered kinetic blocks

Shafts and other kinetic blocks are assigned tiers, and a network's capacity follows its lowest tier.

  2. Tiered machines and recipes

Most machines and recipes depend on the tier of the machine that runs them.

  3. KubeJS and datapack support

The tier setup can be adjusted through KubeJS scripts or datapacks, as described on the wiki.

What the author says

This mod aims to take Gregtech and integrate it with Create, through the use of a gregtech-style tier system. Shafts & other Kinetic Blocks now have a max capacity, meaning the capacity of a network is dictated by the lowest tier block on the network. If you generate more than the block can support, the entire…
