Glyphastic adds a magic system built on glyphs, in which players inscribe combinations onto scrolls to trigger actions.
What it does
Players craft blank glyphs from amethyst shards and paper, then place a blank into the center slot of the glyph inscriber block's interface. Writing a glyph combination there produces a usable glyph scroll, and the scroll's effect depends on which glyphs were inscribed. The system covers a full combination set with more than thirteen hand-built actions, and it uses a combination approach where the same glyphs in a different order may produce a different result.
Most actions carry a delay or cooldown, a choice the author made to keep the magic balanced. The mod runs on the client and the server together, so both sides need it installed. Glyphastic is published for Quilt only, for Minecraft 1.19.1 and 1.19.2, and the code is under the MIT License without being open source.
