Ghostface
Ghostface is a Fabric mod that adds a hostile mob inspired by the Scream films, along with a rare mask and custom drops.
What it does
The mod introduces a new mob named Ghostface. It appears at night, reaches about 5 blocks in height and carries 50 hearts of health, so a golden apple is needed to finish it off. It is fast and silent, stalks players before it attacks, and only strikes once it has been hit. A survival challenge mode stiffens regular mobs as well, making the wider night harder to get through.
Killing a Ghostface can yield custom drops, including a rare Ghostface Mask that players can wear for a spooky look. The mod is client-side only, so servers do not need it and players can install it alone for single-player worlds. Files are published for Fabric only, for the 1.21.8 – 1.21.11 range, and the latest file is 1.0.0 for 1.21.11, released under All rights reserved, so the code is not open source.
