G-Forces

by Orbitul

G-Forces adds a G-force simulation to movement for FlightAssistance, so high-speed maneuvers push back on the player with a readable on-screen G-force label.

What it does

G-Forces calculates movement from realistic G-force physics. The G-force value is computed from the motion of the flying vehicle and is shown on screen as a label that is simple to read at a glance. Because it works from the flight itself, sharp turns and fast dives register with a weight that matches the speed.

The mod requires FlightAssistance and is designed as an addon for it, so installing both is necessary for the G-force effect to run. G-Forces runs on the client alone and is published for Fabric only, with a single version: 1.0.0 for 1.21.11, released on 2026-07-08. Its source code and issue tracker are public, and the code is open source under the MIT License.

Key features

  1. Calculated G-force movement

Movement is adjusted from a G-force calculation, so the flight responds to acceleration and turns in a measured way.

  2. On-screen G-force label

A label in the screen shows the current G-force value, giving a direct reading during maneuvers.

  3. Immersive high-speed flight

Fast maneuvers feel heavier and more immersive, since the simulated force is part of how the flight plays out.

Use cases

Flight with a G-force readout

Pilots who want to track how hard a maneuver loads the vehicle can keep the label in view during a climb or a turn.

Who it’s for: Players who fly with FlightAssistance and want its high-speed maneuvers to carry a visible G-force load. The mod only matters alongside the FlightAssistance addon it extends.
