by ClarktheFunny

What it does

Briefcases are items that add storage beyond the standard inventory, letting a player carry more without a chest. The mod's author describes it as a business-themed addition to the game, and more briefcase types are planned. Feedback and ideas are invited through the author's channels. Clarks Cool Briefcase runs on Forge for 1.20.1 only, with version 1.2.6 as the latest file from 2023-12-17. It is client and server, so the server and every player need the mod, and it is released under All rights reserved, which makes it not open source.

Key features

  1. Extra storage briefcases

Briefcases give the player an additional storage space, useful when carrying materials across long trips.

  2. Ocean and Lava briefcases

The Ocean Briefcase grants water-related buffs and the Lava Briefcase grants lava-related buffs while carried.

  3. Explosive and novelty briefcases

The Explosive Briefcase detonates, a showpiece briefcase is included, and the Cooked Briefcase gives an unusual food benefit.

What the author says

Ever wanted to be a business person? No, me neither. Like the name of the mod suggests it adds briefcases to Minecraft. These can be used for extra storage in the inventory. More briefcases are planned. The "Ocean Briefcase" gives you buffs while you are in water.
