FTB X EMI Compat lets the EMI item and recipe viewer work alongside FTB Quests and other FTB mods on Fabric for 1.20.1.
What it does
The mod is a compatibility layer that connects FTB mods, such as FTB Quests, with EMI, the item and recipe viewer. Once both are present, the FTB content is read through EMI so that players can look up items and recipes from within the viewer while working on their quests. It targets Fabric only, and the latest Fabric file is 1.0.3 for 1.20.1, published on 2026-08-10.
The project needs Fabric, its API, and the FTB Quests and FTB Library mods, along with Architectury API, and all of them must be present for the layer to load. Because it only translates between these mods on the player's side, it adds no new items, blocks or recipes of its own. Only the player's game needs it, and servers run without it.
The code is open source under the MIT License and is available as a public source repository. The first file was published on 2026-04-13, and the most recent update is dated 2026-08-10. Only the 1.20.1 game version is supported.
