Froggy

by FuzjaJadrowa

With Froggy installed, a wild frog-shaped entity called Froggy can appear in the world as a jumpscare game for players to survive.

ForgeNeoForgeClient and serverMIT LicenseOpen source1.20.1 – 1.21.1

What it does

Froggy adds a funny but scary entity that spawns randomly and turns the game into a jumpscare experience. Five variants of the Froggy entity each have their own behaviors, and a config screen lets players or server owners change spawn rates or turn individual variants off. Using a Cough Syrup changes how a Froggy behaves, and a Fly Bottle can tame a wild Froggy.

A tamed Froggy has an inventory screen where it can store items and switch between three behaviors. The mod requires GeckoLib, which must sit in the mods folder next to Froggy. It is published for Forge and NeoForge across 1.20.1 – 1.21.1 and runs on client and server, so both the server and every player need it. The code is open source under the MIT License, and the public source code and issue tracker are available.
