FriendsNotes keeps a client-side list of players, with custom notes, colored highlights and a live health display for teammates on Fabric for 1.21.1.
What it does
Players are added to a notes list where each entry can hold saved information about that player and a message history. Entries can be edited or deleted at any time, and the list can be reordered with up and down arrows. Friends are marked green and enemies red, and the highlight can be toggled through walls with a hotkey. Players who crouch with Shift can be hidden from the highlight view.
A compact HUD shows a favorite player's head and health hearts in real time, and its position can be set to any of the four screen corners. Favorites are marked with a golden marker. A built-in messenger tracks teammates' health, and its message view scrolls automatically to the latest messages. Online status and player skins appear in the list cards, which use gradients and animations.
The mod runs on the Fabric loader and is released under the MIT License, but it is not open source. Only the client needs it, so servers and other players do not have to install anything. Files target only 1.21.1, and 1.1.0 for 1.21.1 is the latest build, published on 2026-05-14.
