With Friendly Furnishings installed, a player can furnish a home with pastel planks, kitchen sets, bathroom fixtures and flower lamps drawn from a 1950s catalogue look.
What it does
Friendly Furnishings is a decorative furniture mod built around matching sets. Pastel planks, beadboard panels, kitchen sets, countertops, cabinets and containers come in colour families such as roses, blueberry, lemon, garden, seaglass, hygge, green and orange, so a room can be built from one palette. Bathroom fixtures and vanity mirrors in odd and even variants round out the interior options, and small flower lamps add lighting.
The mod introduces over 250 new blocks and furniture pieces, and its Furniture Block Catalogs give the content a shopping-book style. Some items are bought with emeralds from a catalogue book, while others are crafted by hand. Working cabinets and countertops store items, so the blocks serve a practical role as well as a visual one. Geckolib is required and must be installed alongside the mod, and the mod is published for Forge and NeoForge for 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, with 1.0.0 as the latest file on both loaders. It runs on client and server, and the code is covered by All rights reserved, so it is not open source. Backports to earlier versions are planned for later.
