FPS-Sync (FPS Limiter)
by Pasi
With FPS-Sync installed, the game's frame rate cap follows the refresh rate of the monitor without needing V-Sync.
What it does
FPS-Sync caps the frame rate to match the refresh rate of the monitor, so Minecraft stops rendering frames the display cannot show. It adds a new option at the leftmost position of the FPS slider, and a custom limit can be set up to 1000 FPS. The mod is client-side only, so it changes nothing on a server, and it requires Fabric API. Files are published for Fabric across 23 release versions, 1.20.1 – 26.3, under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only, and the code is open source.
Key features
Monitor-matched frame cap
The frame rate limit is set automatically to the refresh rate of the monitor, without enabling V-Sync.
Custom limits up to 1000 FPS
An option lets players set a fixed frame limit up to 1000 FPS for monitors or setups that need one.
No added input lag
Using this approach instead of V-Sync avoids the input lag that V-Sync adds to the game.

What the author says
FPS-Sync automatically caps your framerate to your monitor's refresh rate. This is different to V-Sync and doesn't add input lag to the game. The mod also allows for custom frame limits up to 1000 FPS.
