Fly's config lib is a shared JSON configuration library for Fly's Minecraft mods, with registry helpers and NBT pattern matching for other mods to build on.
What it does
The library loads and saves mod settings from JSON files. When a config file does not exist, it is created automatically with default values. Changes made to the file on disk are reloaded without restarting the game, and a broken or corrupted config is backed up with a timestamp before the defaults are restored.
Other mods can look up items, blocks and entities in-game through its registry helpers. Lookups are cached, so repeated searches do not slow things down. Its NBT pattern matching compares item data such as enchantments, custom names and written book authors, and partial matching only checks the tags that a pattern specifies.
The library is published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge across 18 release versions, 1.20 – 1.21.11. A server running it needs every connecting player to have it too. The code is under the MIT License and is not open source. The mod is required by Adrenaline.

Generic Registry is a Fabric-only library released under the GNU General Public License v3.0 or later and open source, with files for 1.7.2 – 26.1.2. Its use on either side is optional, so a client or a server can run it while neither needs it. Stonecutter Recipe Tags targets Fabric, Forge and Quilt for 1.16.3 – 1.19.3, is client and server, and is open source under the MIT License. Fly's config lib covers 1.20 – 1.21.11 on Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, and is not open source.
