Flagbric

by TheEpicBlock

Flagbric lets players place flag poles and display banner-style flags, and its poles can be fed by hoppers.

FabricClient and serverCC0 1.0 UniversalOpen source1.16.3 – 1.18.2

What it does

Flagbric adds flag poles that players can place in the world and hang flags from, with banners displayed as flags on the poles. Hoppers can feed the poles, so flags can be placed automatically in a build or a server setup. The mod notes compatibility with Banners++, which extends the same banner items.

Flagbric runs on Fabric and needs no other dependency. Installation covers the server and each player's game. Builds exist for 1.16.3 – 1.18.2, and the latest file is 2.1.1 for 1.18.2. The code is released under CC0 1.0 Universal, so the project is open source, and source code and an issue tracker are public.

Key features

  1. Flag poles

Flag poles can be placed in the world, and a flag is shown on top of each pole.

  2. Banner display

Banners are displayed as flags, so existing banner designs can be used on the poles.

  3. Hopper input

Hoppers can push items into a flag pole to place flags without a player present.

  4. Banners++ compatibility

The mod works alongside Banners++, which adds more banner designs that can then be shown as flags.

Use cases

Automated flag builds

Hopper-fed poles let a build or a farm place flags from a storage line instead of by hand.

Decorative flag displays

Players lining roads, bases or squares with poles and banner flags on a shared server.

Who it’s for: The mod suits builders who want flags as decoration and server owners who want hopper-driven flag placement. Both the server and players need the mod installed, so it is a shared addition on multiplayer worlds.
