Festivities
Festivities brings holiday celebrations into Minecraft, with Christmas content as the main set and Halloween as a second set.
What it does
Christmas features switch on during December, and Halloween features during October. Many mobs dress up for Christmas with festive textures from the Festive Mashup Pack, and players can wear colored Jolly Hats. Villagers hand players Christmas treats such as Sugar Cookies and Fruitcake, and Giftboxes can be found now and then.
Opening a Giftbox gives access to the Giftmaker, a new villager profession, and the Giftmaker sells Christmas items. One of those items is the Magic Snowglobe, which lets a player turn on Christmas time. The author notes that the mod currently covers only Christmas, and that other holidays may be added later.
Festivities is a Fabric mod for 1.21.1, published under the MIT License as open source. Servers that run it need every player to install it too. Its source code and issue tracker are public.
