FabSit
by fill1890
FabSit lets players sit, lie down and spin in place on a Fabric server, using commands and permission-controlled poses.
What it does
Players use the sit, lay and spin poses, and each pose can be granted or withheld through permissions, which are given to players by default. The mod implements sitting, lying and spinning on the server, so players join without installing anything.
The project aims for near-feature parity with the GSit mod's Spigot implementation, with work still in progress, and it does not promise exact behaviour matching. Configuration and internationalization details are documented on the GitHub page. A client-side translation or extra features may come later.
FabSit is published for Fabric only, for 1.19, 1.19.1 and 1.19.2, and requires Fabric API. The source code is under the MIT License, so the mod is open source. Files exist for 1.19.2 as the latest build, dated 2022-08-14.
Key features
Sit, lay and spin poses
Players can sit, lie down or start spinning from a command, which covers the three poses the mod provides.
Permission-based poses
Each pose is controlled by its own permission, so server owners can decide which players may use which poses.
Voice chat setting
A config option can remove players from the lay and spin poses to avoid conflicts with some voice chat mods, until a better solution is found.
Server-side installation
The jar goes in the server mods folder, and it can also go in the client folder.
Compatibility
Latest build for each game version and loader.

Use cases
Server hubs and roleplay
Server owners who want players to rest, sit or spin in a shared area can grant the poses to all players by default or restrict them with permissions.
Who it’s for: Server owners who want sitting and lying poses for players on Fabric, and who can manage permissions and voice chat settings.
