Ez Elytra Boost

by TheRealRaphael

Ez Elytra Boost lets a player start an Elytra glide with one right-click, using a firework rocket held in hand, without any jump timing.

FabricClient and serverMIT License1.17.1 – 26.1.2

What it does

The mod changes how firework rockets are used while gliding with an Elytra. A single right-click starts a launch from a standing position, and a single click uses a rocket mid-air, so the double-jump timing that vanilla requires is no longer needed. The boost is applied smoothly, and the flight physics are adjusted so that using several rockets in a row does not cause the speed-flickering flash effect.

Landing is also handled by the mod. Touching the ground stops the glide safely, and the player can slide along grass for longer distances. Fabric API is required, and the mod is licensed under the MIT License but is not open source. Files exist for Fabric only, in 19 release versions covering 1.17.1 – 26.1.2, and the environment is client and server, so both the server and every player need it.

Key features

  1. One-click launch

A right-click with a firework rocket launches the Elytra glider instantly from the ground.

  2. Mid-air rocket boost

Rockets can be used while airborne with a single click, without repeated space-bar presses.

  3. Anti-glitch speed

Adjusted flight physics keep speed steady when several rockets are used, avoiding the flicker effect.

  4. Instant landing

Touching the ground ends the glide safely, and grass sliding covers more distance.

Use cases

Quicker takeoff

Players who fly often can start a glide without the timing that vanilla double-jumping requires.

Long flights on servers

Server owners who run Elytra travel can install the mod on both sides so every player gets the same launch behaviour.

Who it’s for: Players who use the Elytra for travel or exploration on Fabric, and server owners who want the same boost behaviour for every player.
