Ex Nihilo: Sequentia - Thermal Addon

by NovaMachina

Sequentia adds Thermal Series support to Ex Nihilo: Sequentia, a Forge addon for Technology mods on Minecraft 1.19.2.

ForgeClient and serverCreative Commons Attribution Non Commercial Share Alike 4.01.19.2

What it does

Sequentia continues the Ex Nihilo line of mods, which lets players create resources from mobs and from nothing at all. Ex Nihilo itself takes its name from a Latin phrase meaning out of nothing. The series has earlier forks and continuations, and this release is the one that carries the line forward for the Thermal ecosystem.

This addon works alongside Thermal Foundation, which is required, and adds Thermal Series support to the Ex Nihilo content. The mod is a Forge build for 1.19.2 only, with the latest file 1.19.2-4.2.0.3 published on 2023-06-19. A server running it needs every connecting player to have it too. The license is Creative Commons Attribution Non Commercial Share Alike 4.0, and the code is not open source.

Public source code, an issue tracker and a wiki are linked from the project. Current details on Ex Nihilo are kept in the wiki, and bugs can be reported on GitHub. The first release was published on 2022-11-21.

Key features

  1. Thermal Series integration

Sequentia adds support for Thermal Series content so its items take part in the Ex Nihilo process.

  2. Barrel and sieve processing

Barrels, sieves and related tools turn input materials into resources, with the tree as the starting point.

  3. Mob-based resources

Resources can be created from mobs, extending the core Ex Nihilo idea of producing items from nothing.

  4. Skyblock-friendly start

The early tools and resource loop suit skyblock maps, where the player begins with very little.

What the author says

This is an add-on for Ex Nihilo: Sequentia that adds support for the Thermal Series. Ex Nihilo is a Latin phrase meaning "out of nothing". Ex Nihilo: Sequentia is the next installment of the long-lasting Ex Nihilo mod series. With it, you can create resources and mobs out of nothing! Well, sort of...you need a tree…
