Entangled
Entangled lets a player bind two blocks together so that interacting with either one works as if they were the same block.
What it does
An Entangled Block absorbs the state of another block it is bound to. A player crafts an Entangled Block and an Entangled Binder, places the block, selects an empty hotbar slot, and crouches to choose which blocks bind together. Once bound, items, energy and fluids can be moved through either block, which lets a build use more than six sides or hide cables out of sight.
The mod depends on Fabric API, SuperMartijn642's Config Lib and SuperMartijn642's Core Lib on every loader it supports. Three block tags control its behavior: entangled:invalid targets lists blocks that cannot be targeted, entangled:render blacklist lists blocks that are not rendered inside entangled blocks, and entangled:render blacklist block entity type lists block entity types that are not rendered. The mod runs on client and server and is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, across 51 release versions, with the newest Fabric and Quilt file 1.3.21-fabric-mc26.3 for 26.3.
Key features
Block state absorption
An Entangled Block takes on the state of the block it is bound to, so interacting with either one behaves the same way.
Selective binding
A player chooses which blocks bind together by crouching while holding the Entangled Binder in an empty hotbar slot.
Tag-based restrictions
Block tags let a server owner block certain targets or skip rendering of chosen blocks and block entity types inside entangled blocks.
Item and energy transfer
Items, energy and fluids can pass through a bound Entangled Block, extending what a single block can connect to.

Use cases
Hiding cables
A player can route cables through an Entangled Block so the connections stay out of view in a build.
Extra connection sides
A block can reach more than six sides through a bound pair, which suits compact machine layouts.
Who it’s for: Players who build machine setups or storage layouts on Fabric, Forge, NeoForge or Quilt, and server owners who want to limit which blocks can be targeted or rendered through the tag settings.
Questions
Does Entangled need Fabric API on every loader?
Does Entangled have to be installed on the server?
Can server owners restrict which blocks can be entangled?

What the author says
Entangled gives you the materials needed to bind two blocks together, allowing you to interact with either one as if they were the same block! This will allow you to transfer items, energy, fluids or whatever you want instantly, you can have more than six sides to work with or you could just hide your messy cables…
