Endless City Primary
Players who run short of wood on barren ground can find resources in Endless City Primary, which turns the world into a vast city with valuables spread through it.
What it does
The mod turns a world into an expansive, endless city instead of the usual terrain. The city generates over existing parts of the world as players explore, and a smart chunk border system is meant to keep chunk boundaries from overwhelming the server. Automatic chunk purging clears chunks that are no longer needed. Players who fly or walk far can make new city areas generate beyond their render distance, and the author advises against travelling faster than speed 40, since the city still populates in those areas.
The city sits on a massive superstructure that adds a deepslate layer beneath it, with trial chambers and strongholds inside. The design balances that layer against the valuables spread through the city, and the builds use barrels and vaults. Fabric API is required, and FerriteCore is an optional dependency that can be added for memory use. Only the server needs to run the mod, while players can leave it out, so either side may skip it. It is released under All rights reserved and is not open source. Files are published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, for the 1.20 – 1.21.5 range.
Key features
Endless generated city
An infinite city takes the place of the normal world, with randomized road structures and buildings across the landscape.
Automatic chunk purging
Chunks that are no longer in use are cleared automatically, which keeps the generated city from filling storage.
Deepslate superstructure
A large superstructure forms a new deepslate layer beneath the city, including trial chambers and strongholds.
Lite edition
A smaller-world version called Endless City LITE exists for players with storage limits, and it is incompatible with Primary.

Endless city started as a simple mod for MC 1.6.4. The creator, now lost to time, brought this unique concept to life by generating a whole city…
